Stat of the Day
Russell Westbrook recorded his 15th triple double of the season last night, moving him into a tie with Michael Jordan for the 3rd most triple doubles in a season in the last 30 years.
JIM HARBAUGH OFF THE TOP ROPE/Tweet of the Day
If you don’t follow Jim Harbaugh on Twitter, or don’t use Twitter at all, let me provide some back story here. Jim Harbaugh has become king of the college football offseason and specializes in ruffling the feathers of each and every person, team or conference that dares step up to him. Earlier today, Ohio State AD Gene Smith delivered a quote that may have been, but probably wasn’t a shot at Harbaugh and his spring break practices in Florida, essentially saying that his program doesn’t need to think of creative ways to jumpstart itself, because, you know, that national title two years ago. Well, not being one to let a thing like this go, Jim Harbaugh fired back. And it’s our tweet of the day.
Jim Harbaugh is a message-board poster who also happens to be amazing at coaching football.
Americana invades Cuba
President Obama, Derek Jeter and the Tampa Bay Rays were all in Cuba yesterday to watch and play an exhibition baseball game. The results don’t matter much here, but by all accounts it was a pretty surreal spectacle. We can only hope this eventually leads to progress for the Cuban people. Anyway, here’s a neat photo gallery of the day.

Slow news day
There weren’t a ton of noteworthy sports happenings last night, so we’ll just dip back into the golden egg that is the NCAA Tournament. Your favorite team is probably eliminated, so here’s a handy guide to picking a new team to root for.
